Biography
Dr. Joshua Hakala has been an Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma since 2019. In addition to teaching biology classes and biochemistry, Dr. Hakala taught an Astrophotography class during Summer 2021 which utilized the Science and Arts Observatory located at the USAO Habitat Area outside of Chickasha, OK.
Research, Presentations & Publications
As a graduate student, Dr. Hakala investigated the mechanisms governing carrier domain translocation and positioning in the enzyme pyruvate carboxylase. He has presented posters at many conferences and given an oral presentation at the Experimental Biology 2018 conference in San Diego, CA.
