Biography
Sydney Dacus serves as the Career Readiness Specialist focusing on facilitating the pathway between
student education and career opportunities, including internships. Her role includes
actively engaging with students, providing personalized guidance and preparation to
enter the workforce. Sydney shares her time between two campuses as the Career Readiness Specialist position
is a joint position between USAO and Redlands Community College.
After graduating from USAO in Spring 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Multidisciplinary Studies, Sydney began working at Redlands Community College as a student advisor. In her new role, Sydney has found a passion for creating career and networking opportunities for students
during and after their academic career.
Sydney's dad, mom, and two older sisters have all graduated from USAO and her brother is
currently enrolled here. For many reasons, that legacy included, USAO has a special
place in her heart and she's excited to be back.
