Accidental Hero: Patrick Dewane | November 12, 2026

6:30 p.m. in Te Ata Memorial Auditorium

This multi-media one-man show tells the true story of Matt Konop, an American WWII officer who miraculously ended up liberating the exact Czech villages his grandparents had left years earlier. Written and performed by his grandson, Patrick Dewane, the production combines archival footage, photos, and a deeply personal narrative to explore identity, heroism, and fate.
