Biography
Dr. Aaron Kidd is an Assistant Professor of Science Education at the University of Science and Arts
of Oklahoma (USAO). Before joining the USAO faculty, Dr. Kidd taught science in a variety of settings, including as an adjunct instructor and as
a teacher in both high school and middle school classrooms.
His teaching now focuses on preparing future elementary and secondary educators. His
research interests include teacher behaviors, naïve student modeling, and preservice
teacher education. In collaboration with colleagues nationwide, Dr. Kidd is also investigating the effectiveness of intervention strategies aimed at addressing
student misconceptions about complex scientific concepts in undergraduate science
                           courses.
