Trinity Albao-Cozad named 2026 Distinguished Graduate

The 2026 Commencement ceremony honored several students for their impressive accomplishments attained during their four years at the University of Science of Arts of Oklahoma. Among those recognized, Trinity Albao-Cozad was named 2026 Distinguished Graduate, the highest honor presented to an undergraduate student.

The award, delivered by Eugene Earsom, President of the USAO Alumni Association, recognizes exceptional academic achievement, campus leadership, and community service aligned with the values of the university.

Trinity graduated with a 3.86 GPA as a triple major in biology, business administration, and psychology, while also completing double minors in chemistry and liberal arts. A consistent Honor Roll Student, she was credited to graduate early, but chose to remain at USAO to focus on campus and community impact.

Under the guidance of Dr. Jeanette Loutsch, Trinity also completed a mentored research program, titled Investigating the Impact of Energy Drink Consumption on the Oral Microbiome, displaying her intellectual rigor and discipline.

As a scholar-athlete, Trinity joined the women’s cross-country track and field team in 2022, developing into a key peer mentor.

Effectively making her a trifecta, her third and most benevolent attribute is her dedication to service. Her work has included serving as President of DroverThon, treasurer for the Student Government Association, as well as her involvement in Drover Difference Day, and the Neill-Wint Center for Neurodiversity.

Trinity’s previous honors include the Drover Difference Maker Award and the Fred Voigt Award for Excellence in Science. This summer, she will begin the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Oklahoma.
