The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma is welcoming its largest class of incoming freshmen in over a decade. As of today, the university’s current enrollment stands at 1,050 students overall, with 285 incoming freshmen, making it the highest headcount since 2010.

“We are thrilled to see so many new faces on campus and are looking forward to a phenomenal academic year,” said USAO President, Kayla Hale. “The growth we have experienced is a testament to the hard work of our faculty and staff – and the unique, interdisciplinary education we provide.”

This marks a significant increase from 2020, when the university’s total headcount was 733 and the number of incoming freshmen was 129.

“Don’t be afraid to have fun!” Quoted Cameron Roberts, Director of Student Life. “College is about learning, but it’s also about enjoying the experience. When you arrive, you’ll have all the resources you need—just lean on the Drover community around you. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or reach out for help. We’re here for you!”
